To organize public consultative meetings on budget and publish the reports of such meetings online.
To prepare and publish Citizens’ Budget versions of the State’s annual budget.
Oversee Budget Office’s website/portal and all e-budgeting activities.
Oversee and update the IPSAS National Chart of Accounts (NCoAs) for budgeting as domesticated by the State (creation of new revenue & expenditure codes).
To organize annual Pre-Budget Workshops for Ministries/Extra-Ministerial Departments and Agencies.
To serve as citizens feedback desk on budget related matters and acts as intermediary between Government and citizens on Budget related matters
Convene an economic summit as and when necessary to chart developmental courses for the State.
To liaise with the Accountant General’s Office to prepare yearly Citizens’ Accountability Report.
Carry out advisory services on OSOPADEC, ODIRS and Local Government Budgets.
Online publication of State’s Budget, Budget Performance Report (BPR) and others.
